Clamping levers, clamps or excentric clamps are used wherever components on machines, devices and equipment are clamped, fastened or fixed. A clamping lever consists of a body, which serves as a handle for the locking and a threaded insert, which is connected with an external or internal thread, depending on the version.

BÄCKER has clamping levers in numerous material variants in its product range. The levers are made of plastic, coated zinc die-cast or stainless steel casting. The threads are made of burnished or galvanized steel or stainless steel and are designed for various applications and loads. The clamping levers are available in thread sizes M4 - M16. Special designs are possible by arrangement.   

Basically there are clamping levers with rigid or adjustable connections. With the rigid version, the clamping lever is firmly connected to the thread and forms a mechanical unit. The adjustable versions offer the possibility to turn the lever independently of the clamping. Due to a detachable serration with the threaded piece, the lever/handle can be freely rotated by briefly lifting it without affecting the clamping. Adjustable clamping levers are preferably used in situations where the clamping range is limited or a certain clamping position of the lever is desired.
